More than three times faster than the pistons of an F1 engine at maximum speed, Tag

1/100th Second Chronograph the Mikrograph 1/1000th runs at regular time at 4Hz, 28,800 beats an
hour and has a 42 hour power reserve. In 2005 the Calibre 360 was introduced,
it was the first mechanical chronograph wrist watch measuring and displaying 1/100th of a second
time. In 2011 Tag Heuer released the Carrera Mikrograph 1/100th Second Chronograph, the first foudroyante
central hand displaying 1/100th of a second in a mechanical chronograph wrist watch. It is
125 times more accurate than the Tn Requin most popular mechanical chronograph on the market, thanks to
a movement that beats at a speed of 3,600,000 beats per hour.To give one an
idea of just how fast one, one thousandth of a second is, think about these
parallels, light travels at 300 kilometers in 1/1000th of a second, the Earth rotate 29.8
meters around the Sun in 1/1000th of a second. The ultra fast time is 500
Hz, 3,600,000 beats per hour. At 6 o'clock a counter displays 1/10th of a second
calibrated to 5 seconds. The 45mm case is made from black titanium carbide with a
double anti-reflective curved sapphire crystal and a black rubber strap. This allows requin tn for instantaneous reading
of minutes, seconds and 1/1000th of a second and is the only mechanical chronograph accurate
enough for such events as the Formula 1 where this type of accuracy is critical.Besides
all of the astonishing technical achievement, the watch is stunning. There is a smaller central
hand that indicates minutes and a 1/12th of a minute on a 150 second scale.
There are 11 patents pending on this design.The flying central hand makes 10 rotations per
second indicating 1/1000th of a second and 1/100th of a second on the external part
of the dial. The dial has 100 graduations over 360 degrees. Since 1916 when Charles-August
Heuer introduced the 1/100th Mikrograph stopwatch, Tag Heuer has been at the forefront of innovative
engineering. The pushers are titanium carbide coated as is the crown which also has a
